Scrap Jazz has just announced an overhaul of the Scrap Jazz community site. Included amongst the new features is a tabbed gallery - including a tab for the digital layouts uploaded there, and one for traditional.

And of interest is the new My Jazz feature - which is a similar offering to that of owning company, Scrapbook.com's My Place. In May 31st Scrapbook.com acquired Scrapjazz and KMA Scrapbooks.com.

With My Jazz, Scrap Jazz users can now create a personal webpage for themselves sitting at Scrap Jazz. Go to your My Jazz, and you will have a profile page, complete with blogging ability, friends (as in social networking) and links to all your forum and gallery updates.

DSZ has commenced an (almost) regular site of the week awards.

Blogs, websites, personal sites, professional sites...

Crafts, scrapbooking, mixed media, photography...

Good, bad, ugly but interesting...

The Best will be awarded the Site of the Week Award from DigiScrap Zine.On an almost regularly basis.

Think of it as a smiley award

Two websites have so far been awarded the little smiley face clipboard, and to go and have a look at them, check out the Resources Section | Site of the Week

The Dares are Back

The Effer Dares blog (later renamed to simply The Dares) has been up and running as one of the first challenge blogs for scrapbookers for a couple of years now. However, the blog, located at blogspot, suffered a disaster of late, which saw the whole thing disappear for a few days.

Fortunately, although initially suffering some server problems, the Effer Dares has now been transferred over to a domain name and website, and appears now to be running.

Change your bookmarks, to make sure you know where to find some great challenges both historically and in the future.

To celebrate, the Dares are now running the second annual edition of the Last Man Standing contest from this site.
