About

Welcome to Digiscrap Zine

Digiscrap Zine is currently under construction to provide a one-stop portal for digital scrapbookers, scrapbookers, paper artists and other crafters. (See Philosophy below).

Within Digiscrap Zine you will find a large links list (originally from the Scrapability blog) and directory of articles, plus the latest newsflashes from the digital scrapbooking and traditional scrapbooking  industry.

This site is not officially open as yet, so things may change - but make yourself welcome, browse around the website sections, and add your own links.  Have a cup of  java, or tea, and take a look in your garden for those ladybugs. Read your latest scrapping magazine, and tell DSZ about the latest news.

The websites discussed and linked to on this site remain centered in providing inspiration, resources, motivation and discussions over this much loved subject of scrapbooking. There are so many excellent resources out there, and I would like this site to point you to them, and provide many for you.

If you have not done so already, don't forget to register to make this site your own, too - registered users have a number of available options -

  1. Receive emails for new editions of the Zine itself
  2. Edit profile details
  3. Submit comments on articles
  4. Submit your own news and content (for approval)
  5. Submit your own listings in the links directory (for approval)
  6. View other registered users of this site.

DSZ Philosophy

Put Simply - Digiscrap Zine is intended to share with you freely as many resources for scrapbooking as possible. I believe in providing a central portal to all the wonderful blogs, websites, designers, forums and scrapbookers out there. And in providing all the news and views on that industry. In response, feel free to add your own content, or links to help out your fellow scrappers.

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program.

It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages. If you're after a free photo editor which deals with layers and various file types, then try GIMP.
