Digital Scrapbooking Magazine has a survey out. It's 50 questions long, and unfortunately primed for the US market. As an international subscriber, I took it anyway. Perhaps I'll win one of those prizes for survey responders, perhaps not.

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program.

It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages. If you're after a free photo editor which deals with layers and various file types, then try GIMP.
