Scrap-A-Flaire, the online virtual retreat for a week, which runs from November 2nd - 11th (happily over-top of Digital Scrapbooking Day, November 3rd) has brought back one popular digital class by popular demand, and added a few more.

  • Kim Crother's provides DIY Digital. I noticed Kim, of Creative Scraps, is also now selling through Pickleberry Pop now.  This class is for users with some familiarity of Photoshop (um, count me out then) and you learn to create digital papers and elements.
  • Erica Hernadez has Digi Fusion is for hybrid scrappers and you produce 11 mini projects within this class. The class comes with an exclusive digital kit also, to produce a mini album.
  • Rhonna Farrer returns with the popular Digital Scrapbooking 101 class, using Photoshop Elements 4 or above (that'll be me out again, I'm afraid).
Aside from the digital classes, Scrap-A-Faire also has a wide range of traditional paper-based classes, which for the digital enthusiast might be taken as a nice challenge also. Most classes range from the $20 - $25 mark, plus it may pay to register early to allow yourself time to source the supplies suggested (or think about what supplies you already own to use).

Scrap-A-Faire also has online exhibitions, forums and contests of course - sponsored by Shutterfly this year, there are some comprehensive prize packages going. Exhibitors also include ACDSee, Scrapbooks etc Magazine, and at least three - four Digital Scrapbooking stores.
