Offically premeired on Digital Scrapbooking Day, November 3rd, comes a free to all new video podcasting site - Digital Scrapbooking TV. Jen Caputo emailed me to tell me about this. This site already has a couple of sample vid-casts up for you. This podcast will be concentrating on photoshop techniques.

Digital Scrapbooking TV also has a forum, and episode guide, plus a very talented Creative Team -

The site is also looking for advertisers, who will be given the new opportunity of providing video (or animated) commercials. Now, that'll be interesting for the digital community to see what all those stores and designers come up with...

Like any podcast, you can subscribe to receive notification (or downloads) via your favourite blog or pod-reader, including ITunes. It looks a very good offering Jen - but you need a logo and blinkie, :-0

About the author:

For some years, Michelle has been blogging on the Scrapability Blog, and in July 2007 founded the Digiscrap Zine site. You will now find her writing about her love of the digital scrapbooking industry in particular, and delving into many permutations of creativity, crafting and paperarts on this site.

Michelle admits to liking cats, dogs, small cute children, British food and wholesome Disney movies. Oh, and  scrapbooking and the internet, of course!

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program.

It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages. If you're after a free photo editor which deals with layers and various file types, then try GIMP.
