Different designers have different strengths.  When it comes to great-looking background papers, I often will reach for Jen Wilson.  She has a way with papers that I just love.  Whether they're plain or patterened, they're always richly textured, grunged, almost "chalky" in texture as if hand-painted.  I used a few of her papers on my recent "The Dahlias of Volunteer Park" layout.

The other thing Jen is good at is coordinated collections.  And this year, she's promised to put out new items weekly until Christmas in her new "Holiday" collection.  She already has a few paper packs and element packs in the line-up.

I, for one, will be checking in on this collection often to see what's new.  And if I don't end up with half of it on my hard drive, I'll be surprise!  The two paper packs I'm featuring here look quite wonderful -- rich colors, unique patterns, some glitter and grunge...  Go see!

Here's the shop page for Jen's "Holiday" collection.

Jane Holmes is a writer and computer game designer from Seattle, WA where she lives with her DH and a basset hound.  She has been a digi scrapaholic since 2004 including a brief stint as a designer for Scrapbook Elements in 2005.  It didn’t take long, however, for Jane to realize that she had far greater talent and natural ability as a consumer in this industry, a course which she has pursued with fervor ever since.  Besides scrapping Jane loves walking, travel and digital photography, three hobbies which are quite frequently accomplished simultaneously and result in lots and lots of photos to be scrapped.
